About the event
The Shelby Area Democratic Club will celebrate its 58th Anniversary on Thursday, August 27 with a picnic and silent auction followed by the induction of a lucky someone into the Most Faithful Order of the Brass Donkey.
It will take place at the South Pavilion in Shelby’s Seltzer Park, off Glenwood and overlooking the Upper Pond. Bring a dish to share and items, big or small, for the Silent Auction. It’s a great opportunity to shed some items from your shelves and drawers and return with some fun and beautiful items to fill them again! Checks or cash only. We’ll gather at 5:30 PM. Dinner is at 6:00 and the Silent Auction closes at 6:45 pm. Raffle tickets for the Brass Donkey are $1 each or 6 for $5. For more information email shelbyareadems@gmail.com .
